My addiction with alcohol began in 1977. A few years later I began using crack. I lost most of what I had. By 1999, I was determined to live a more stable life. My journey led me to the Glass Factory, housing that BRC built and operates for folks like me. I'm 49 now. I've been Home now for 7 years here at BRC. I've found and kept my focus and my sobriety. I don't work any more, but I do volunteer. I enjoy giving back to BRC. And despite the many obstacles in my life, I still have a strong relationship with my two children.
